What is the instructor-to-student ratio?
3-year-old class – one teacher/one aide to 20 children
4-year-old class – one teacher/one aide to 20 children
Kindergarten – one teacher / 12 students
What is the curriculum like?
We combine Creative Curriculum with Biblical Foundations for Early Childhood Education in order to meet the academic, social and spiritual needs of our students. We use teacher resource books for academic time, along with interactive games and hands-on activities for teaching numbers, letters, and other educational concepts. We use a children’s Bible called “The Beginner’s Bible” for teaching stories during Bible time. We also use the “Wee Sing Bible Songs” CD for teaching Bible songs.
What does the tuition include (field trip fees, snacks, etc.)?
The tuition and the comprehensive fee include everything…most field trips, snacks, school supplies, equipment, etc.
Is there chapel? If so, how frequently and how long?
Chapel is held every Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Parents are invited.
How much play time is in the curriculum?
There is 45 minutes of indoor/outdoor play. This free time is an extension of learning with a variety of choices and planned activities according to the weekly lesson plan.
What is the typical daily schedule?
8:00 – 8:15 a.m. – Welcome, everyone!
8:15 – 8:30 a.m. – Morning Circle / Bible
8:30 – 8:40 a.m. – Bathroom
8:45 – 9:30 a.m. – Playground Time
9:30 – 9:40 a.m. – Wash up for snack
9:45 – 10:00 a.m. – Snack
10:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Daily activities include Phonics, Science, Math, Cooking, Art, Music
10:45 – 11:30 a.m. – Free Choice Time in Classrooms 1 & 2
11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Closing Activity
Where are the restrooms located for the students and how many are there?
There is one restroom at the back of each classroom.
Does my child have to be potty trained to attend the preschool?
Yes. We will assist with buttoning, snapping, etc.; however, the child must be fully potty trained.
Do I have to be a Christian to enroll my son or daughter in the preschool?
We are a Christian school and we teach Christian morals and values. We expect the parents to support us in our teachings.
Is there a discount for multiple children?
Yes, 10% discount for each additional sibling.

What are the late pickup fees?
$1 per minute after 12:05 p.m.
Are uniforms required? If so how much are they?
We do not have uniforms; however we do not allow clothing that depicts violent or inappropriate figures. Children should wear comfortable clothes that they can change themselves. For safety reasons, close toe shoes are required. School t-Shirts are available for $8/children or $10/adults and must be worn on field trips for identification purposes.
What type of snacks are offered?
We offer healthy snacks regulated by the Hawaii Child Care Nutrition Program. Download our Monthly Snack Menu.
