First day of chapel

Today was our first chapel day with our parents in attendance. The children have been practicing their Bible verses and songs since the beginning of school, in preparation for this day. Pastor Pete delivered a great message on friendship and the children blessed us with their smiles and songs. Click on the thumbnails to see the entire image.

Walking Field trip

Central Christian School had a great time at our walking field trip with tours of our neighbors, Oceanic Cable and Hawaii Self Storage today!

Here’s a glimpse of our day.

Children enjoyed our first field trip of the school year

We saw the inner workings of Oceanic Cable

We met the Emergency Room “Doctor” who diagnoses and fixes sick cable boxes

The Modem Doctor fixes a sick modem with a “fever”

Our kids bless the Oceanic Repair team with a song, “Glory Glory Lord”

The Production Room was SO neat!

Look! We’re on TV — in the Toy Story bedroom,
thanks to the magic of television.

We also visited Hawaii Self Storage and toured their facility and saw different storage unit sizes. Did you know how loud a bunch of preschoolers can be in a confined space?

What a fun day! Thank you, parents, who volunteered to help — and the great folks at Oceanic Cable and Hawaii Self Storage for allowing us to visit their facilities.
